Mapa z roku 1720 je jedním z nejznámějších mapových děl naší historie. Svými rozměry, obsahem a uměleckou výzdobou patří ke zlatému fondu české kartografie. Mapa je velmi bohatá po obsahové stránce, je v ní zakresleno 12 500 lokalit, hospodářské a přírodní bohatství země.
Mapa patří k nejhezčím starým kartografickým dílům. Krásu mapového obrazu doplňuje rohová výzdoba podle předlohy barokního malíře V. V. Reinera. V levém horním rohu je umístěn pohled na Pražský hrad, Malou Stranu a kamenný most přes Vltavu s patrony české země. V dalších rozích se nachází alegorie českých řek, hospodářská odvětví země a symboly zemědělství a lovu.

300 Years of Müller's Map of Bohemia

The map from 1720 is one of the most famous map works in our history. Due to its dimensions, content and artistic decoration, it belongs to the golden fund of Czech cartography. The map is very rich in terms of content, it shows 12,500 localities, economic and natural resources of the country.
It belongs to the most beautiful old cartographic works. The beauty of the map image is complemented by the corner decoration according to the model of the baroque painter V. V. Reiner. In the upper left corner there is a view of Prague Castle, Mala Strana and the stone bridge over the Vltava river with the patrons of the Bohemia. In other corners, there are allegories of Czech rivers, economic sectors of the country and symbols of agriculture and hunting.
