Collective monograph Czech Cinema Revisited: Politics, Aesthetics, Genres and Techniques has originated in connection with project "Digital Restoration of Czech Film Heritage", through which the National Film Archive provides access to selected Czech films. The restored films have also become the centrepiece of interdisciplinary research by film historians, classical historians, Slavicists, ethnologists, but also by film costume specialists or musicologists.
