The English version of the proceedings is edited by Naděžda Pelcová, Anna Hogenová and David Rybák. The reader will find selected papers written by domestic and international authors as presented at an international conference "Logos in the education, arts and sport", organized at the Pedagogical Faculty of Charles University in May 2017.
The book focuses on the key motif of European thinking, the logos. The main idea of the proceedings is to offer a comprehensive and interdisciplinary reflection regarding the issue of contingency. The issue is approached from the various aspects and from the various methodical frames, so that the reader can get a comprehensive idea about its philosophical and scientific consequences.
