anotace
Rabbi David ibn Zimra was among those who were expelled from Spain in the year 1492. He came to the Holy Land and later settled in Egypt and was chief Rabbi of Egypt. He was not only a Kabbalist, but also a Talmudist and Biblical scholar. Among his students was Rabbi Isaac Luria of blessed memory, the greatest Kabbalist of all times. The poem Kingly Crown is an outpouring of Rabbi David's heart, full of kabbalistic allusions.
